Who is the new Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia?



Is Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud appointed Ambassador in the United States, Adel al-Jubeir and Minister of Foreign Affairs, the successor to Prince Saud al-Faisal, who asked to be excused, based on his health conditions.

Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir was born on the first of February, 53 years ago, and received a bachelor's from the University of North Texas in economics and political science degree and a master's degree in political science and international relations from Georgetown University in the US capital.

In 1986 he joined the Saudi embassy in America, and began his diplomatic career to be appointed ambassador to Washington nine years ago, a successor to Prince Turki al-Faisal, in addition to his work adviser to the late King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz.

He is known as a representative of Saudi Arabia in the West and especially in the United States.

Throughout diplomatic career in the halls of Washington, he faced many challenges, one of which he survived an assassination attempt orchestrated by Iran, when US authorities thwarted the plot, unveiled in the Federal Court in New York for two persons involved in the plot plan and financing of the Iranian government's name and two Mansour Arbabsear and Gholam Shakouri.

Mansour Arbabsear Iranian who holds American citizenship and admitted that he plans to assassinate the Saudi ambassador to Washington, Adel al-Jubeir planning and financing of the Iranian government.
