Michel Chossudovsky, the director of the Center for Research on Globalization in Canada argued that the death squad approach created in El Salvador in the early 1980's to fight the liberation movement has been adopted by the US and employed in Iraq.

Nomi Prins says banks aren't stepping up to help homeowners because they don't have too; there is no incentive for them to, when all they would be doing is making less of a profit.
