Failure to Stimulate


Nearly two years after the launch of the much touted US Stimulus Package, unemployment hovers around ten percent, while nearly twenty percent of Americans remain underemployed. This, leaving many wondering if this era of so called American recovery is being arguably mistaken for an era of Americans struggling to survive.

As many Americans continue to struggle with the economy worsening, is the United States' economy headed towards austerity measures? President Obama told Americans that we need to make broad sacrifice in order to correct the long term fiscal course.
