More than 200,000 Americans packed the National Mall to take part in comedian Jon Stewart's "Rally to Restore Sanity". But was the message these people were receiving from Jon Stewart outdated? The United States government is prosecuting suspected terrorists on the basis of their intentions, not actions. The government calls it pre-emptive prosecution and many argue the FBI is using entrapment techniques to prosecute innocent people. Criminal defense attorney Martin Stolar says that by entrapping these people the US government is politically and criminally wrong!

More than 100 million Brazilians came out to vote for Dilma Rousseff; electing Brazil's first female president. Rousseff has promised to continue her predecessor's (Lula de Silva) policies but there are still many issues that linger. In Brazil many impoverished farmers are fighting for their right to live their life and sustain themselves. Reporter Pepe Escobar from The Asia Times believes that the upper class in Brazil is trying to expel peasants to the cities to create a work force that will make exported commodities.
