Taxpayer billions promote democracy hoax abroad
Over the past two decades, the US Agency for International Development has spent more than $9 billion dollars promoting Washington's formula for democracy. The programs are in practice in more than 100 countries. USAID's affiliates, the National Endowment for Democracy, the International Republican Institute and the National Democratic Institute are also engaged in the democracy promotion business. Most of the money that is directed for this effort comes directly from Congress and is distributed by the US State Department
