Tea Party: Political Force or Storm in a Teacup?


The Tea Party Patriots Convention kicked off in Richmond, Virginia last weekend as Tea Party favorites like Ron Paul, Lou Dobbs and George Allen took to the stage amid cheers from the 2,800 attendees. But although it's been lauded as a political force to be reckoned with in the November elections, the Tea Party hurricane might just be a storm in a teacup. The 33 Tea Party groups from across Virginia struggled to define their platform and present themselves as an inclusive grassroots movement amid criticism about racism and loyalty to establishment Republicans
