With less than three weeks to go in a midterm election campaign that is on track to draw more political spending than ever before, attacks on both sides have reached a frenzied pace. It seems that the only way to get noticed on the campaign trail is to make the most provocative or outlandish statement. For example, the Illinois Governor who claims his opponent Bill Brady will mass euthanize puppies.
