17 killed in air strikes in Iraq, areas dominated by «Daash»


The 17 people were killed in Iraq on Saturday in air strikes targeted areas controlled by Islamist fighters, witnesses and state intelligence official said.

Witnesses said two brothers from the clan Albouhcmp, accidentally killed when a helicopter attacked an Iraqi army hardline Islamic state followed home in the town of Yathrib, 90 km.

Witnesses said that 15 people from the same tribe were killed later in an air strike when they were on their way to attend the funeral of two brothers.

He stressed the two versions intelligence official, was not clear from launching the second air strike.
