Europe protests while America sleeps
Despite 2 combat missions costing thousands of US lives and more than a trillion dollars, average Americans on the streets of New York are hard-pressed to come up with details of the US wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Meanwhile overseas, European citizens of US allies are protesting their countries' involvement in these missions. Whether people know it or not, the costs of these wars are being spent and protested internationally in the name of US foreign policy.
