Innocent on death row

Innocent on death row

19 years after he first entered death row, Troy Davis' sentencing to death has been upheld in a Georgia court. The African American inmate was convicted of murdering a white police officer in 1989. Since the original trial, seven of the nine witnesses have said that their testimony had no physical evidence that could have linked Davis to the murder. The case has led many to believe that an innocent man will be put to death.
