For President Obama, the last-minute failure to seal a trade deal with South Korea is a major setback for the administration's foreign policy agenda. President Obama now faces charges of hypocrisy due to the Federal Reserve's decision to pump over $600 billion into the ailing US economy, yet the US charging China with keeping their currency low. As the US financial crisis continues, the G20 has started to take place in South Korea. Going into the meetings the US hopes to "rebalance" the world's economies. Can US treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner do anything substantial at the G20 meetings? Peter Schiff from Euro Pacific Capital says for the US to continue its failed policy and blame other countries for what is an American problem makes no sense.

was exactly 2 years ago today that Lehman Brothers filed for bankruptcy when it could not find a buyer and the US Government would not bail out the company. So, what has changed to ensure that this will never happen again? Unfortunately, the United States financial forecast is still cloudy two years after the collapse of Lehman Brothers.
