Should Wisconsin drop unions?

As Wisconsin protestors continue to fight for their right to keep a collective bargaining agreement in place. If the agreement were slashed the state would save millions however teachers and other state workers would be left out in the cold. Radio Host and Author Rose Aguilar says people overseas without collective bargaining rights barely make 3 dollars a day, without collective bargaining people will not make a decent wage.

Protestors in France and other European countries are taking to the streets to demand change, however in the US there has not been a mass protests by its citizens. Even though most people in the United States believe that the government has to much control, according to a Gallup poll its as much as 59% of Americans who are dissatisfied with their government. Radio Host Alex Jones of Infowars.com believes that the United States citizens are beginning to wake up to the tyrannical government and are beginning to arm themeselves with guns and other means.

EU pessimism vs. US optimism


Most Americans are optimistic for a financial turnaround and expect the US economy to rebound. However, England and the European Union aren't convinced and remain pessimistic about a recovery. Michel Chossudovsky from the Center for Research on Globalization says that most Europe countries are functional welfare states. They have public healthcare, pension funds as opposed to the US that does not and most of the services are privatized.
