Should Wisconsin drop unions?

As Wisconsin protestors continue to fight for their right to keep a collective bargaining agreement in place. If the agreement were slashed the state would save millions however teachers and other state workers would be left out in the cold. Radio Host and Author Rose Aguilar says people overseas without collective bargaining rights barely make 3 dollars a day, without collective bargaining people will not make a decent wage.

Thousands of demonstrators gathered in and around the Wisconsin state capital on Monday morning for a second week of protests to oppose the newly elected Republican Governor Scott Walker's budget proposals. Which in addition to reductions in union bargaining power include financial concessions. The 2009 stimulus plan was supposed to get the US economy back on track, however almost one year after Congress passed the Recovery Act the US is still struggling to get its finances back on track. While Wall Street is back to normal, everyday Americans are seeing high numbers of unemployment and home foreclosures. As the stimulus fails, could the US see European style austerity measures?
