They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks.
But for 'Wookie' the dog and his pack it appears the saying is false as these howling huskies sing the baritone to Donny Osmond’s Puppy Love.
In this remarkable video, believed to have been filmed in America, Wookie starts off singing and soon the whole family are hard at work.

Perhaps Wookie is trying to sing, perhaps the dog is trying to emulate its namesake from the Star Wars films.
Either way the husky is more than happy to accompany its owner’s rendition of the 1972 chart-topper.
The owner, who speaks with an American accent, asks her pet husky, ‘Can you sing the low part? I’m not good at the low part.’
Wookie happily obliges beginning the baritone of the track as the rest listen in.

The ‘lead singer’ then turns suddenly as if to cue in the rest of the pack, who burst into song.
They create a glorious wall of sound to giving the song a stunning chorus.
Female voices behind the camera can then be heard saying, ‘Ohhhh… Ok that’s enough,’

‘Enough puppy love’ they add as the pack quietens down before Wookie gets in the final note.
‘Got to have that last word don’t you Wookie,’ says the owner who must have seen it all before.
The song Puppy Love was made famous after Donny Osmond covered Paul Anka’s original hit in 1972 and the single shot to number one in the UK charts.
The video was uploaded to Facebook in early February by K9 Instinct after being shared by S. Allen, and has been viewed over 22.5million times.
Users took to the social network to share their delight at the performance.
Aliette Sastre joked, ‘The “Osmonds” best be looking over their shoulder because I prefer this pack's version of “Puppy Love” fur better than Donny and his brothers.’
Kate Allen said, ‘I laughed so hard at this… I also like how that one husky on the couch is like Stop. Just stop. You’re embarrassing yourselves.’

A dog owner who returned home to find his American bulldog had destroyed his kitchen door posted a hilarious picture of the aftermath online - before revealing he then got rid of the pet.
Craig Sloan, from Pollok, Glasgow, posted a picture on Facebook which showed Hugo the American bulldog looking shamefaced and surrounded by the wreckage after gnawing and ruining the door.
But Mr Sloan has now been criticised after revealing he then returned the brown and white dog to the man he bought him off as Hugo is 'too wild'.

He claims Hugo was left alone for just an hour when he attended a hospital appointment and in that time the two-year-old managed completely to tear off one side of the door.
Mr Sloan returned to home to a scene of devastation and decided then that it was time to part company with his pet.


His photo of the aftermath shows debris from the door strewn across the room and Hugo, ears pinned back, sitting with an 'I'm-in-trouble' expression.
Mr Sloan posted the picture on his Facebook page, saying Huge was left on his own for less than an hour.

He wrote: 'He's not allowed in the hospital and goes everywhere with me. He must have missed me that much.'
He added that Hugo's kitchen-destroying antics were the final straw and the dog had been given back to the man who sold him.
He wrote: 'It's not just because of that door. He's done my couch twice. Tried my best with him but he was too wild. I've took him back to guy I got him off so he's okay.'
Although some criticised Mr Sloan, others stood up for him.
Darren Bass wrote: 'So many quick to assume neglect or that he was out for days on end.
'I had a collie half that size that could destroy that door, along with nine pairs of Nikes, a bookshelf and her own bed in two hours.'
And Pauline Smith said: 'This behavior is NOT a sign of neglect.
'It can be stress from new surroundings i.e. a move by all the family into a new home, perhaps a new routine where owner changes working hours.
'Some dogs are just naturally destructive no matter how hard you work with them.'

A ‘heroine’ police dog who died in a high-profile Paris terrorist raid was blasted to death by officers who were meant to be on her side, it was confirmed emerged today.
They not only killed Diesel, a seven-year-old Belgian Shepherd, but wounded innocent neighbours and threatened at least five other policemen with their reckless shooting.
Their shields and body armour were all hit by round upon round of Brenneke bullets – ones widely used by special forces – during the attack on a house in the suburb of Saint-Denis in November.

It led to the deaths of at least two terrorists who had taken part in the attacks on Paris that month in which 130 people were killed.
But those inside the house only had one automatic pistol between them, and were in no position to fight back with any kind of effectiveness.


The revelations are a huge embarrassment for the elite RAID police group, which had been widely honoured for its professionalism during the attack.
Diesel was due to receive a posthumous Dickin medal – Britain’s animal equivalent of the Victoria Cross.
‘Diesel was killed by Brennekes’ said Jean-Michel Fauvergue, who commanded the operation by the RAID, which stands for Research, Assistance, Intervention, and Deterrence.
His force uses Brennekes slugs – special forces ammunition produced by the German company Brenneke GmbH.
Commander Fauvergue has admitted that ‘saturation fire’ was used to kill Abdelhamid Abaaoud, the 26-year-old leader of the Paris terrorists, and fellow killer Chakib Akrouh, 25.
But Abaaoud’s female cousin, Hasna Ait Boulahcen, also 26, was also riddled with bullets and died in the attack as she tried to give herself up.
Her surviving family has since launched proceedings against the Raid for murder, while at least two neighbours hit by bullets are consulting lawyers.

Both are from ethnic minority backgrounds, but had absolutely nothing to do with the terrorists.
Five RAID officers also reported friendly fire penetrations to their equipment in the storm of Brenneke bullets that hit the property in the early hours of November 18.
Diesel, who was due to retire after a distinguished career, was specially trained to enter dangerous areas so as to bite enemies.
Now the RAID are trying to work out why she was sent into a house which they were pouring live fire into.
A spokesman for the Paris prosecutor said there would be no formal inquest into Diesel’s death, nor any kind of autopsy on the animal.
Forensic examination has established that up to 5,000 rounds of police ammunition was used during the Saint-Denis raid, while the terrorists fired around 11 bullets back.

Outrage over the ‘nanny state’ has reignited after a sniffer dog was photographed patrolling the banks of a harbourside public pool in the middle of the day.
Locals and tourists were working on their tan and enjoying a dip at Andrew Boy Charlton Pool when they were scrutinised by NSW Police and an English Springer Spaniel, 2DAY FM reported.
An image of the unusual event began circulating social media at the weekend and has prompted new calls for the fun police to hand Sydney back.

The picture was originally posted to Instagram and appears to have been deleted, but was then shared to a private Facebook account.
‘Welcome to Sydney The Nanny State Police & sniffer dogs now patrolling our pools during the day , What’s next ?? [sic],’ the caption alongside the image reads.


Many critics have speculated that the sniffer dogs were merely there to intimidate, while some suggested the dogs may have been there for bomb detection rather than to sniff for drugs.
Others pointed out that sniffer dogs frequent areas like Newtown railway station and the streets of Redfern - suggesting Andrew Boy Charlton Pool should be no different.
A NSW Police spokeswoman was unable to confirm when the image was taken, what the dogs were detecting or why.

The spokeswoman told Daily Mail Australia English Springer Spaniels are used for both drug and firearm detection.
NSW Police are looking into the incident, the spokeswoman said.
The pool is one of Sydney’s treasures. It backs onto the Royal Botanical Gardens and overlooks the Sydney Harbour with the Art Gallery of NSW by its side.

On Saturday evening, the owners of wine bar 10 William Street in inner-Sydney Paddington posted on Instagram that NSW Police said pouring wine by the glass promotes ‘unsavoury antisocial behaviour’.
