The US continues to harbor one of the CIA's most infamous agents in Miami, Florida. Luis Posada-Carriles, a former CIA agent, has been convicted and implicated in terrorist attacks throughout Latin America. Congress failed to pass a resolution in 2007 to brand Posada-Carriles as a terrorist and hold him accountable for his countless violent acts. Posada is now standing trial in El Paso, Texas, but it is not for international terrorism charges.

One issue shadowing America's human rights record is the existence of political prisoners in the US Civil rights lawyers argue political prisoners are in direct violation of articles 8, 9 and 10 of the Universal UN Declaration on Human Rights. US President Barack Obama recently granted clemency to nine men and women who committed for low level offenses such a forgery, drug possession and even mutilating coins. Most of them never spend time in jail or prison. Human rights advocates insist the pardons were misguided given reports that many US prisoners are either wrongfully convicted, over sentenced or legally trapped by the criminal justice system. Such is the case of America's political prisoners.

It's been over two decades since the fall of the Berlin Wall. A moment the US government claims as it's victory in the Cold War. The symbol of the Berlin Wall was used to verify that victory while enunciating capitalism had won. However, many question what exactly the US won when the wall fell, suggesting socialism has seen a revival ever since.

With midterm elections in the US about to begin, RT has spoken with 4-time presidential candidate Ralph Nader about the real powers that govern America. Ralph Nader does not belong to either of the two parties ruling Congress. Nader believes that Theodore Dreiser put it very well many years ago, when he said that "the corporations are the government".
All people of all nations need to realize the bankers and leaders of our governments are all sold out and are trying to enslave us (not all, most don't even know but are just greedy). They want a one world government. They take control of the central bank in your country, then inflate the currency over time so that the people never realize that they're getting poorer. Poorer people makes higher crime rates and others

There is no better example of cooperation between the US and Russia than what is going on in space exploration. NASA and the Russian program rely on one another and work together. Congress passed a bill October 12th with very little resistance that would allow foreclosure and other documents to be accepted among multiple states. Wall Street has spent more than $250 million dollars this year lobbying Congress, how much does Wall Street influence Capitol Hill? With money changing hands easily and policy following, it seems Congress is in the pocket of these high powered companies

Over a year ago fourteen activists were arrested at a US military base in Indian Springs, Nevada. The protesters were protesting the use of the United States' use of predator drones in Afghanistan and Pakistan; the base is home to one of the military's predator drone programs. The activists have been charged with criminal trespassing for entering the base, the trial has recently started for the activists after a long delay.
