In the Chilean capital of Santiago protests have ignited. The demonstrations have turned violent and the people of Chile are calling for education reform and for the government to step in and put money into the educational system. Following the downfall of Dominique Strauss-Kahn, the IMF is searching for new leadership. Is it time for someone from a BRICs country to step up to the plate? Raj Doshi of Mani Capital, Inc. says BRICs nations are the backbone of the global economy and perhaps the best solution would be for them to break off from the IMF and start their own fund altogether.
