Police brutality in RT correspondent's arrest

There are new developments coming out of the arrest of RT Correspondent Kaelyn Forde and Photojournalist Jon Conway this past weekend in Fort Benning, GA. The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe wrote a letter to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton condemning the incident. Activist Tammi Ramirez was arrested along with Forde and Conway, she says police wouldn't even allow her to use her inhaler while she had an asthma attack on the bus to jail and inside jail.

Most of the mainstream media coverage of the arrest of RT correspondent Kaelyn Forde has focused on what happened, rather than why or how it happened. Many media members are targeted by police, not being distinguished from any of the activists in favor of repressing free speech. Peter Hart from Fairness and Accuracy Reporting believes the police have embraced that the media is part of the problem.
