Defense Spending Disaster
As the year comes to an end, the U.S. government rings in the new year $13 trillion dollars in debt and counting. The national deficit has become a rallying call by both Republicans and Democrats to re-evaluate Washington's method of spending, however, there is one portion of the budget that just increased. In a town dominated by the military industrial complex, the defense budget is rarely questioned.
